Leeds band English Teacher released their great debut LP, This Could Be Texas, in April, and they’ve been on a short US tour supporting it, which stopped in NYC on Monday night (6/10) for a show at Bowery Ballroom. They sounded fantastic playing most of their new album and a few older songs; the highlight of the set came towards the end of the night with “R&B,” which crescendoed with vocalist Lily Fontaine crowd surfing her way through the length of the venue.
