The second North American Leg of Depeche Mode‘s Memento Mori tour hit Brooklyn on Saturday (10/21) at Barclays Center. This is a big production but the band have switched up their setlist a little since the spring, when they played Madison Square Garden. Barclays actually got the tour debuts of two songs — “Policy of Truth” and “Black Celebration” — and the set also included “Walking in My Shoes,” “World in My Eyes” (dedicated to Andy Fletcher), “Strangelove,” Memento Mori’s “My Cosmos is Mine,” “Wagging Tongue,” “Ghosts Again,” and more. As they’ve done all tour, the encore ended with “Just Can’t Get Enough,” “Never Let Me Down Again” and “Personal Jesus.”
DIIV haven’t put out a record since 2019’s Deceiver but didn’t use their Barclays opening set to test out any new material; their seven-song set included “Blankenship,” “Doused,” “Take Your Time” and more.”
