UK punk legends Cock Sparrer were in NYC over the weekend for what they say were their final shows here; they played Brooklyn Paramount on Saturday with Sheer Terror, Disket, and Béton Armé, and on Sunday with Mike McColgan and the Bomb Squad, No Time, and Dark Thoughts.
Both nights had the capacity crowds bouncing, fists raised, and shouting along to a night of punk and Oi! classics. Setlists between the two nights were similar but they changed things up for a few songs mid-set, before the final run of “Because You’re Young,” “Running Riot,” “Take ’em All,” “Where Are They Now?,” “England Belongs to Me,” and then finally, somewhat ironically, “We’re Coming Back” to close out the shows.
