Today’s a Bandcamp Friday, and Young Jesus has taken the opportunity to release a new EP that benefits the nonprofit Beloved Asheville that’s helping with Hurricane Helene aid, and also the GoFundMe to help Young Jesus member Marcel Borbon’s recently-evicted 93-year-old grandmother get housing. Bandleader John Rossiter says, “EP out today called John Case. 5 tunes a couple oldies reimagined and a couple recent favorites. All split 50/50 for @belovedasheville and the gofundme to get housing for @marcyphilis grandma. Up on bandcamp only, I went against my asparagus manager and label to release these rogue so who knows how long they stay up. Be well.”
