Producer Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith presented a set they called “Smith and Watt Steakhouse” at intimate Hamptons venue Stephen Talkhouse (capacity 250) on Tuesday night (8/20). They had some special guests on hand for the occasion, including guitarist and former Saturday Night Live bandleader and music director G.E. Smith, and Paul McCartney! Spin reports that McCartney joined Watt and Smith for renditions of the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There,” and Neil Young‘s “Rockin’ in the Free World,” which Watt’s girlfriend Charlotte Lawrence also joined them on.
