Hayley Williams has been bringing out surprise guests to join her on “Parachute” (and other songs) at some shows of her current solo tour, and for night one in Chicago on Tuesday night (4/21), she had Mike Kinsella of American Football join her on her set-closing rendition of that very song. Hayley appears on American Football’s third album, 2019’s LP3, where she duets with Kinsella on “Uncomfortably Numb.” Both she and the band are on the lineup for Kilby Block Party next month – might we see them team up onstage again? Fingers crossed.
