Adam Green and Kimya Dawson will be back as The Moldy Peaches to play a big NYC show next year: Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium on June 26, with fellow anti-folk artist Paleface opening. This acoustic set will be The Moldy Peaches’ first show in three years.
“We’re keeping it real at Carnegie Hall,” say the duo. “It’s been a long 30-year adventure from our first show busking at the Mt. Kisco carnival to this soon-to-be sold-out concert on one of the world’s most celebrated stages. With tears of joy in our eyes, and rainbow melodies in our hearts, we’re giving our OG fans what they’ve been pleading for: a quiet show in a place with comfortable seats. We’re really grateful for those of you who’ve been with us since the beginning, and to the kids on Tik-Tok for keeping our songs relevant. We’re happy to be back home in New York. We love you, peace.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 14 at 11 AM with a fan presale starting on Wednesday, November 12 at 11 AM with password MoodyPoodles.
