The Format are in the middle of their reunion run, which is finally happening after being announced for 2020 and rescheduled multiple times, and they’ve now announced a new album. Boycott Heaven, their third full-length album and first since 2006’s Dog Problems, is due out on January 23 via their own The Vanity Label. It was produced by Brendan O’Brien, who also plays bass on it, and has Matt Chamberlain on drums.
The first single is “Holy Roller,” which they’ll debut when they perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight (10/6). Watch the video, directed by Vanessa Pla, below.
The Format have one more reunion show coming up this month, at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery on October 10, with Phantom Planet.
