While we wait for The Cure to finish the new album Robert Smith has been promising for nearly a decade, the band are releasing a 12″ single featuring new songs “And Nothing is Forever” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye,” recorded in France on the 2022 European leg of the Shows of a Lost World tour.
The NOVEMBRE : LIVE IN FRANCE 2022 single will be out October 1 via Naked Record Club, is limited to 5000 copies worldwide, and is pressed on earth-friendly eco-vinyl. Robert Smith will sign the first 100 copies. 100% of net profits will be donated by The Cure and Naked to Brian Eno’s climate change charity EarthPercent. “And Nothing is Forever” and “I Can Never Say Goodbye” are two of a handful of new songs The Cure played on their Songs From a Lost World tour, which hit North America in 2023.
