Deftones‘ Chino Moreno released a self-titled album with his Team Sleep side project in 2005, featuring CrookOne, Death Grips‘ Zach Hill, Todd Wilkinson, and, Rick Verrett, along with guest contributions from DJ C-Minus, Greg Wills, Dan Elkan, Sonny Mayugba, Pinback‘s Rob Crow, and Mary Timony. For Record Store Day 2024, it’s been remastered and is getting its first ever vinyl pressing. The limited edition gold variant will feature an exclusive litho and has been expanded to include two unreleased outtakes: “Let’s Go,” which features Mary Timony, and “Kool Aide,” which features Faith No More‘s Mike Patton.

Chino is on tour as one half of ††† (Crosses) (with Far‘s Shaun Lopez) now, including an NYC show on February 20 at Hammerstein Ballroom. The duo recently shared a pre-show playlist with us, as well.
Between the North American and European legs of †††’s tour, Chino will join Deftones for their sets at Coachella and Primavera Sound.
