Poliça has announced their sixth album, Dreams Go, which will be out October 17 via Memphis Industries. It was recorded at Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studio and as usual Ryan Olsen was behind the boards as producer with additional work from Swedish techno producer Peder Mannerfelt.
Dreams Go marks the final sessions with bassist Chris Bierden before he lost the ability to play following his glioblastoma diagnosis. New bassist Alex Nutter was brought in and also plays on the album alongside dual drummers Ben Ivascu and Drew Christopherson.
The first single is the anthemic title track, which singer Channy Leaneagh says is “for the dreams we swallow, bury away while life goes on without them.” You can listen to a studio version and watch a live performance of below.
