They Came to Conquer… Uranus came out on Cargo/Grilled Cheese before they signed to MCA for 1997’s Dude Ranch, and included three new songs, one of which, “Waggy,” was re-recorded for Dude Ranch. After the endearingly sloppy (or sloppily endearing?) Buddha and Cheshire Cat, this is really the first release that showed how much of a force blink-182 were about to become. As a blink completist (and a proud owner of this 7”) myself, I’d say it’s both a great collector’s item and also home to two of the best blink rarities in existence.
