Debby Friday releases The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life, the follow-up to her Polaris Prize-winning debut album, on August 1 and she’s announced a few North American shows in support. They happen this fall, and stops include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Chicago and Brooklyn’s Public Records on October 30. Debby has also released a new song from The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life, the breakbeat-powered “Bet on Me.” She says, “Life can be so dizzy and it’s easy to spiral into living a reality that you don’t actually want. This song is an ode to intuition and raw self-belief, to betting on yourself.” Watch the video below.
