Murder By Death remain as busy as ever — and, among other things, covered “Bones” from I Think You Should Leave earlier this year — and next year the cult-fave noir-country band will celebrate their 20th anniversary on tour. The band says:
This winter we will be touring to celebrate 20 years since our first show! We’ve been so fortunate to have such die-hard fans who have supported us throughout the years. We started out playing basements and art spaces, touring in a minivan, and we never imagined having such a long and wonderful career. We owe it to you! And so this tour we will be doing fan-curated sets, reaching back into our catalog, playing deep cuts. We’ve relearned songs from Who Will Survive, In Bocca Al Lupo and many more. Every ticket holder will get a free zine at the show, looking back at the last 20 years of MBD. We have a lot of exciting stuff planned for these shows- see you out there, and thanks!
The tour includes a Brooklyn show on March 28 at Warsaw (tickets on sale 10/4 at 10 AM, presales beforehand). All dates are listed below.
