Electro-pop duo Magdalena Bay returned with their first new music of the year, “Death & Romance,” in May, and now they’ve announced their second full-length album, Imaginal Disk, due out on August 23 via Mom + Pop. It’s the follow-up to 2021’s great Mercurial World, and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
The album includes “Death & Romance,” and they’ve given us another early taste with the groovy, spacey “Image.” “Close your eyes,” they say. “Imagine a brand new, better you. Now wait 22 minutes. Now open your eyes. Meet your brand new image! Isn’t it amazing that the meat in our heads can do this?” Watch the video, directed by Amanda Kramer, below.
