OSEES will be back on August 9 with SORCS 80, and we’ve got the premiere of the album’s second single, a synth-punk banger titled “Earthling” that sounds dark and gritty but actually has a very positive message.
“‘Earthling’ is written about all the parts of myself I’ve tried to change over the years,” bandleader John Dwyer tells us. “I’m sure a lot of people can relate to wanting to shift things in themselves for the better. Wanting to appeal to your human side and not all your demons and lesser emotions. It’s work to be a ‘good’ person to your average human, so over time we focus on putting things to rest that have haunted us for too long. Life is short so soak up a good moments before they’re gone.”

OSEES hit North America on tour in late summer and fall, with two Brooklyn shows at Warsaw on October 24 & 25 with Upchuck and Godcaster, respectively.
