Donald Trump should really consider just using Kid Rock songs at his rallies because no one else wants anything to do with him. The latest musician he’s angered (again): Jack White. Earlier today, the official TrumpDailyPosts account on X/Twitter posted a video that used The White Stripes‘ “Seven Nation Army” and Jack was none too pleased. Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy director of communications, deleted the video but White had more to say on his Instagram.
“Oh….Don’t even think about using my music you fascists,” Jack wrote. “Law suit coming from my lawyers about this (to add to your 5 thousand others.) Have a great day at work today Margo Martin.”
Jack went on to comment on Trump’s recent backfired publicity stunt at Arlington National Cemetery that now has the former president at odds with the US Army . “And as long as I’m here, a double fuck you DonOLD for insulting our nation’s veterans at Arlington you scum. You should lose every military family’s vote immediately from that if ANYTHING makes sense anymore.”
This is not White’s first run-in with Trump using “Seven Nation Army,’ either. Back in 2016, White sold “Icky Trump” t-shirts and stickers in retaliation.
