Vocalist Pat Flynn and drummer Shawn Costa of Fiddlehead, Have Heart, Free, Sweet Jesus, and more recently launched yet another band together, How Much Art (named after an SSD song), which also features former Gel guitarist Maddi Nave, Darin Edward Thompson (Downtalker, Qualms), Justin Mantell (Qualms), and Adam Gonsalves (So Automatic). They recently played their first few shows, including Brooklyn and Boston shows with MSPAINT this past weekend, and today they released their first song and announced that they signed to Convulse Records for their upcoming debut EP, Public Relations, due “early Fall(ish).”
The first single is “PR,” which kinda sounds like if Fiddlehead got a little more into synthy post-punk. And because it’s Pat Flynn, it should come as no surprise that it’s a real shoutalong anthem. Check it out below.
