Ethel Cain has officially announced the follow-up to 2022’s great Preacher’s Daughter. Perverts is due out on January 8, and the first single will be “Punish,” which she’s been playing live this year (most recently at All Things Go NYC last month). It’s out November 1; stay tuned.
Meanwhile, Ethel said her All Things Go set was her last show of the year, but she made a surprise guest appearance with American Football on Sunday night (10/13) at their second Los Angeles show at El Rey Theatre, joining them on “For Sure.” That’s also the song she covers on their new LP1 tribute album, which is out this Friday (10/18), and you can watch video from El Rey, and see American Football’s setlist, below.
