Phoebe Bridgers has been releasing a holiday song for charity every year since 2017. For 2023, it’s a new boygenius song, with Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, along with Irish folk duo Ye Vagabonds, joining her for a rendition of traditional gathering song “The Parting Glass,” which Sinéad O’Connor included in her 2022 album Sean-Nós Nua. All net proceeds will be donated to Irish charity Aisling Project, an after-school project that works with young people growing up in disadvantaged areas in Dublin, as chosen by the Sinéad O’Connor Estate.
