Run For Cover‘s newest signing is Armlock, the Australian duo of Simon Lam and Hamish Mitchell. The duo’s bio makes references to Pinback, Alex G, and Boards of Canada, and you can hear those vibes coming through in the chill, slow-paced indie rock of new single “Ice Cold.” It’s the first single off the band’s just-announced RFC debut, Seashell Angel Lucky Charm, which arrives July 12 (pre-order). The band have two upcoming shows at the moment: Sydney’s Phoenix Central Park on May 28 and Pitchfork Music Festival London on November 10.
