Alex G signed to RCA last year, and now he has announced his major label debut, Headlights. He introduces the album with the mandolin-fueled “Afterlife,” a folky indie song that kicks this new era off on a breezy, tuneful note. Listen and watch the Charlotte Rutherford-directed video below.
Headlights is the follow-up to 2022’s God Save the Animals, his first new release since his score to the 2024 film I Saw The TV Glow, and it’s due out on July 18.
