So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
GRAHAM COXON (BLUR) – “BILLY SAYS”
Graham Coxon of Blur has unearthed a lost album, Castle Park, which was recorded in 2011 and will finally see the light of day on June 19. Originally intended as a follow up to A+E, the record was postponed due to blur activity in 2012, and then Coxon moved on to other projects. First single “Billy Says” sounds pretty good.

SHOOTER JENNINGS – “WHEN I’M STONED” (JASON BOLAND COVER FT. WILLIE NELSON)
In honor of 4/20, Shooter Jennings shared a new cover of Jason Boland’s “When I’m Stoned,” featuring Willie Nelson. “I’ve known Jason Boland for more than half my life,” Jennings says. “I saw him playing songs in bars. I opened for him the day we got thrown in jail in Baylor County for weed. So naturally, when they asked me to do this project, I enthusiastically agreed and called Willie Nelson to help me out. Boland is a diamond and he’s one of the guys that influenced a lot of what is going on in today’s country music, so it was my pleasure to honor my old friend. It’s the second release in the Hellponies Archives series.

BECK – “RIDE LONESOME”
Is Beck getting ready to release a new album? He’s definitely got a new song: “Ride Lonesome” which should please fans of his mellower side like Mutations.

PORTRAYAL OF GUILT – “TOTAL BLACK”
Portrayal of Guilt’s new album …Beginning of the End is out this Friday, and ahead of that they’ve given us a final preview with “Total Black.”

RUTH GARBUS – “I THINK I’M READY NOW”
“‘I Think I’m Ready Now’ is a song about being a ripe fruit,” Ruth Garbus says. “I guess. I mean, I wrote it in the same way I write most of my songs, except I was cackling at my audacity a little more than usual. It has a tension, partly because it feels important to me — I don’t know exactly why. I think there is something about expressing myself in here in a certain way, like I almost need to do it too much and it makes me uptight. When me and elie and Nick have worked on it and performed it, I have had to really go through a process with it; I had to let go a lot and just chill the eff out. It was hard. That’s usually how it goes: when I think I need to be forceful, in how I’m singing and/or how I’m approaching the arrangement, it turns out I just need to really back off and that’s when the power comes.” Ruth’s new album Profound is out June 12 via Ordinal.

FORCED ORDER – “MY WILL NEVER DIES”
California hardcore band Forced Order announced a new 12″, Undying Spirit, due out on May 8 via Triple B / Streets of Hate, and shared the first single, “My Will Never Dies.”

BETH ORTON – “WAITING”
Beth Orton’s new album is out in June and while you wait here’s “Waiting.”

MAN/WOMAN/CHAINSAW – “NOSEDIVE”
London’s Man/Woman/Chainsaw will release debut album Cannonball on August 7 and here’s the new single.
