So many artists, so many songs, so little time. RYAN DAVIS & THE ROADHOUSE BAND – “MONTE CARLO/NO LIMITS”
Alt-country slacker rockers Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band have shared another immersive, sprawling track from their anticipated sophomore album New Threats from the Soul. This one has harmony vocals from Jenny Rose.

KONTUSION – “THRONE OF SKULLS”
DC/NJ death metal band Kontusion will follow their 2022 self-titled EP with their first full-length album, Insatiable Lust or Death, on July 25 via Profound Lore. Here’s the raw, grimy, adrenaline-rush-inducing lead single “Throne of Skulls.”

KEVIN ABSTRACT – “GEEZER” (ft. DOMINIC FIKE)
Kevin Abstract announced a new album, Blush, and first single “Geezer” is a relaxed, summery alt-rock/hip hop hybrid with some very ’90s vibes. He also shared demos from the album on Discord.

DRAIN – “NIGHTS LIKE THESE”

TAME IMPALA – NEW SONG
Kevin Parker debuted a new Tame Impala song during his DJ set at Primavera Sound, and it seems to find Kevin going in a more house-inspired direction than we usually hear from Tame Impala.

GREY GERSTEN – MUSIC FOR FILMS I & 11
NYC musician and composer Grey Gersten has collected works he did for various films and television series on two compilations. “Score music separated from an image is dangerous,” Grey says, whose style tends toward the airy and atmopheric. “It’s like a ghost looking for a host body to animate. You may start wearing different clothes. You may change your name. You may fall for a femme fatale. Good night nurse.”
