Planet B–the industrial punk project fronted by Justin Pearson (Dead Cross, Deaf Club, The Locust) that also includes Luke Henshaw (Sonido de la Frontera), Kevin Avery (Field Day, Retox) and Scott Osment (Deaf Club, Glassing)–will release their new album Fiction Prediction on February 9 via Pearson’s label Three One G (pre-order). It was recorded by Luke Henshaw and mixed by Daniel Schlett, and it features several guests, including instrumental contributions from the late Gabe Serbian (The Locust, Head Wound City, etc) and Eric Livingston (Mamaleek), as well as Crow Jane, D-Styles, Ric Scales, Josie Cotton, David Scott Stone (ex-LCD Soundsystem, Melvins), and more.
We’re premiering opening track and second single “Dick On the Dance Floor,” along with its video, which stars Valeria Catalina and was filmed by Becky DiGiglio and edited by Displaced/Replaced. “There are plenty of proverbial dicks on the metaphorical dance floor of the planet,” Justin says. “Anything from your average racists pricks to big pharma, like Pfizer or Roche. Take your pick when you are dancing through life, and if you get a chance, slash their tires in the parking lot on your way out.
