Philly hardcore heroes Ink & Dagger kicked off their Halloween weekend reunion shows at Philly’s First Unitarian Church last night (10/30) — marking their first show in nearly 15 years — and like at their last reunion, Thursday’s Geoff Rickly filled in for the late Sean Patrick McCabe on lead vocals. I wasn’t there but I’ve been watching some fan-shot footage and it looks absolutely insane. Circa Survive’s Anthony Green was there and he wrote “tonight was really special” in his Instagram stories. This show was opened by Paint It Black, whose Dan Yemin also filled in on lead vocals for Ink & Dagger during “Philapsychosis.” Ink & Dagger play the Church again tonight (10/31) with Deadguy and Saturday (11/1) with Soul Glo, and then they play Warehouse on Watts on Sunday (11/2) with Honey.
