Death metal/hardcore fusers Vomit Forth returned this year with their new album Terrified Of God and they just announced that they’ll be busy in 2025 on the Chaos & Carnage Tour alongside Dying Fetus, Cradle of Filth, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Undeath, and more (including NYC’s Palladium Times Square on May 1). Vocalist Kane Gelaznik has now told us about his favorite albums of the year, including the aforementioned Undeath, as well as Defeated Sanity, Domain, Candy (specifically the EP), the Deadbody/Tribal Gaze split, and more.

Defeated Sanity – Chronicles of Lunacy
Insane brutal DM, one of the best to do it ever. Extremely unhinged, sounds like the thoughts of a crazy person.
BBY GOYARD – Shannon Tunes
Awesome music. Has been on his own wave for years now, everyone tries to sound like him.
Undeath – More Insane
The best Undeath to date. Little hints of HC with the technicality and strangeness of past releases. Expertly done.
Severe Torture – Torn From The Jaws Of Death
Amazing brutal death band. The updated production really brought out the riffs. Band’s still got it.
Crippling Alcoholism – With Love From A Padded Room
Insanely catchy, dark and fucked up record. So many lines are blurred here genre wise and the result is crushingly heavy without being “heavy”.
Unto Others – Never, Neverland
I couldn’t believe the song “Butterfly” when it first dropped. Everything about this album is perfect.
Domain – Life’s Cold Grasp
A H8000 inspired metallic hardcore instant classic. Chock full of pissed off yelling and assbeater riffs.
Promise Breaker – Hellhome
Promise Breaker, while always evolving, has continued to stay true to the sound they’ve created and the DIY attitude towards all artwork and production. Hellhome is the most powerful, versatile, innovative, and heaviest Promise Breaker has ever been.
Tribal Gaze/Deadbody – Split
Two of the hardest bands out. Tribal Gaze brings that Texas death metal sound to new levels. Deadbody has untouchable death grind vibes. Flawless release.
Candy – Flipping EP
The most original and inspired HC band out. This EP is so catchy and moshy. Can not get enough of this band
