HALEY HEYNDERICKX
“Oh dear. There is so much that is suggested in this poster that I am not allowed to say,” writes Haley Heynderickx, “but I will start by saying we got a big tour coming this fall, bringing out a dreamy ensemble and new tunes (hint hint).” The tour begins September 5 in Burlington, VT and heads across the country and back, wrapping up in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg on November 17.
TOUCHÉ AMORÉ / SOUL GLO / PORTRAYAL OF GUILT
Touché Amoré have announced their sixth album, Spiral In A Straight Line, as well as a tour with Soul Glo and Portrayal of Guilt.
SUNFLOWER BEAN
NYC band Sunflower Bean just announced a new EP, SHAKE, and to go with it, some tour dates. The first of those is in Brooklyn at Baby’s All Right on October 2, and from there they’ll head to LA, Chicago and Austin.
NICK CAVE
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds‘ highly anticipated 18th album Wild God comes out on August 30, and ahead of that he’ll preview it at an intimate Brooklyn event.
THE FLAMING LIPS (2025 YOSHIMI SHOWS)
The Flaming Lips are on tour with Weezer this summer (MSG on 9/11) but have already made plans for next year. Wayne Coyne announced 2025 UK/EU dates where they will play Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots in full. Let’s hope they do it in North America, too.
DYING WISH / PAIN OF TRUTH
Portland, OR melodic metalcore purveyors Dying Wish and LIHC ass-beaters Pain of Truth have announced a co-headlining tour for this October.
DECIBEL METAL & BEER FEST DENVER
Decibel Magazine has announced the Denver edition of their Metal & Beer Festival, which happens December 6 & 7 at Summit. Headliners are Autopsy (playing 1989’s Severed Survival in full) on Friday and YOB on Saturday, and the rest of the lineup includes Frozen Soul, Cirith Ungol, Pallbearer, Undergang, Crypt Sermon, Dreadnought and more.
STATE FAULTS / MASSA NERA
Right after they open the West Coast leg of Pianos Become the Teeth’s Keep You 10th anniversary tour, Santa Rosa screamo band State Faults will do an East Coast tour on their way down to The Fest. A few dates are with the great NJ screamo band Massa Nera, including the NYC show at The Kingsland on 10/18, and NJ greats Hundreds of AU (ex-You and I) are on that bill too. State Faults’ new album Children of the Moon comes out this week (7/26) via Deathwish/Dog Knights.
BREAKBOT
Ed Banger mainstays Breakbot and collaborator Irfane will be on the West Coast this fall for a few dates, including San Diego’s The Music Box on Halloween (DJ set) and an LA show at 1720 on November 1.
TEMPLES – SUN STRUCTURES 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR
UK psych band Temples‘ debut album, Sun Structures, turned 10 this year, and the band are celebrating by playing it in full on a fall US tour.
GENEVA JACUZZI
Geneva Jacuzzi’s new album Triple Fire is out August 23 and she’s announced NYC and LA release shows for it.
