Sound and Fury 2024 in videos: Have Heart, Fiddlehead, Fleshwater, Big Boy, Anxious, Torture, End It & more

The great LA hardcore festival Sound and Fury went down in Exposition Park this past weekend (July 13-14), and in addition to the surprise Touché Amoré set, it also had one of this year’s five Have Heart reunion sets as its day two headliner and Have Heart vocalist Pat Flynn’s newer band Fiddlehead closing out day one. The fest also included the recently-reunited Twitching Tongues (who covered the Misfits and Downpresser) and Weekend Nachos (who brought out Full of Hell‘s Dylan Walker for set-closer “Jock Powerviolence” after Full of Hell played their own set), Fleshwater, Sunami, Drug Church, Anxious, End It, Zulu, Sanguisugabogg, Nothing (who covered Coldplay), Harms Way, Chat Pile, Koyo, Big Boy, One Step Closer, xWeaponX (members of Knocked Loose), They Are Gutting A Body of Water, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Torture, PeelingFlesh, Torena, Outta Pocket, Prize Horse, World of Pleasure, Scarab, Kumo 99, Cosmic Joke, the last Diztort set, and more.

We’d been posting videos from the festival to the BrooklynVegan Instagram stories throughout the weekend, and we’ve now also gathered a bunch of other fan-shot videos from the fest in this post. Before the fest, Full of Hell and Nothing performed their collaborative 2023 album When No Birds Sang together for the first time ever at a Sound and Fury pre-show, and you can check out video of that below too.

Have Heart’s next and final two shows of 2024 are at Brooklyn Monarch on Friday (7/19) and Boston’s Roadrunner on Sunday (7/20). We’ve also got new exclusive color vinyl pressings of their two full-length albums up for pre-order now in the BV shop, along with some exclusive Fiddlehead vinyl.
