UK gothic metal/death-doom legends Paradise Lost have announced their first North American tour in years, with support varying by date from US tech-death greats Gigan and Chicago doom pioneers Trouble. The tour begins with Paradise Lost and Gigan playing Milwaukee Metal Fest on May 16 (two days before Trouble play the same fest) and leads up to Paradise Lost’s Draconian Times set at Maryland Deathfest. The non-MDF shows support PL’s great 2020 album Obsidian, and the tour also follows the release of Gigan’s excellent 2024 album Anomalous Abstractigate Infinitessimus.
In addition to the two festival appearances, the tour includes shows in Columbus, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and NYC. The NYC show is on May 22 at Le Poisson Rouge and that one’s with Trouble and Northern Heretic. Tickets go on sale Friday (1/10) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
