Nothing have announced their own festival, SLIDE AWAY, with editions taking place in both Philadelphia and Los Angeles in March of 2024. They’ll be performing their 2014 debut album Guilty of Everything in full at both dates for its 10th anniversary, and Nothing leader Domenic Palermo has curated different shoegaze and shoegaze-adjacent lineups for each city.
The Philly edition goes down March 9 at Union Transfer with ’90s veterans Swirlies and Loveliescrushing, as well as Mexico City’s Mint Field, Philly’s Knifeplay, Chicago’s Astrobrite, Phoenix’s Glixen, and more TBA.
LA is March 30 at The Belasco with Tanuchikan (aka Toro y Moi and Hannah van Loon), long-running Bay Area band Film School, LA bands Peel Dream Magazine and Mo Dotti, and Astrobrite is on this one too, plus more TBA.
Tickets for Philly and LA go on sale Friday (12/1) at 10 AM local time with presales beforehand.
Meanwhile, Nothing’s collaborative album with Full of Hell comes out this week.
