Japanese post-rock vets MONO just released their excellent, Steve Albini-recorded, orchestra-assisted new album OATH, and now they’ve also announced three US shows with a 12-piece orchestra: Chicago’s Thalia Hall on December 10, Brooklyn’s Pioneer Works on December 12, and LA’s Wilshire Ebell Theatre on December 14. Tickets are on presale now (password = OATH), and the general public on-sale begins Friday (6/21) at 10 AM local.
MONO also just released a new video from the album, for “Hear the Wind Sing.” It’s the third video from the album and released once again in collaboration with EarthQuaker Devices. It was directed and edited by Chris Tran. Check it out below.
