After announcing their initial lineup back in November, Milwaukee Metal Fest has announced the final lineup for its 2024 edition, which happens on May 16-19 at The Rave/Eagles Club. They’ve added nineteen bands, including Municipal Waste, Autopsy, Terrorizer (performing a World Downfall 35th anniversary set), Macabre, Nunslaughter, Gatecreeper, Skeletal Remains, Creeping Death, Upon Stone, Stabbing, Monochromatic Black, Deathray, Vision, Backlash, Bewitcher, Morbikon, Dead By Wednesday, Engineered Society Project, Hatriot, and Time To Kill.
They join previously announced bands, including Mr. Bungle, Testament, Death To All, Blind Guardian, Slaughter to Prevail, In Flames, Hatebreed, Deicide, Katatonia, Kamelot, Marduk, Possessed, Metal Church, Incantation, Skinless, The Red Chord, Heathen, Internal Bleeding, Embryonic Autopsy, Eyes Of The Living, and more. They’ve also announced details about the official pre-party, happening on May 16. It’s free for those with a 3-day pass to the festival, and features Jasta and Friends with Bobby Blitz, Zetro, Bobby Hambel, and more, along with Toxic Run and H1Z1.
Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta, who acquired the rights to the festival and brought it back for its first edition in years in 2023, says, “We’re beyond excited to welcome such a stellar crop of new additions to the fest; Autopsy played the third edition of MMF thirty five years ago, to have them back is truly special and you can’t have Milwaukee Metal Fest without Macabre! I speak for our entire MMF team that now is the time to start building up tomorrow’s headliners. Additions like Upon Stone, Lords Of The Trident, Stabbing, Monochromatic Black, etc. are all great examples of the talent & passion that is out there that some of us will get to see for the first time in Milwaukee.”
