Many Eyes, the new band from former Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley, have announced their debut album, The Light Age, due out on September 6 via Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta’s Perseverance Media Group. It was produced by drummer Nick Bellmore, and he and original guitarist and bassist Charlie Bellmore wrote all the songs with Buckley. You can see the cover art, designed by Nick Steinhardt (of Touché Amoré) & Ryan Sanders for 23in, below, along with the tracklist.
The album features the singles the band have shared over the past year — “Revelation,” “Mystic Cord,” and “Future Proof” — and they’ve shared a fourth new single, “Harbringer.” Keith has spoken about exploring his love of melodic ’90s grunge/alt-rock with this band, but “Harbringer” is an all-out metalcore banger that definitely fills some of the void caused by ETID’s sudden demise. “‘Harbinger’ feels like the end of the world is suddenly happening, so that’s what the lyrics are about,” Buckley says. Many Eyes have a few album release shows coming up, as well as dates supporting Sum 41 on their final tour. They’ll have Craig Vittorio of Tzarina joining them on guitar for those shows, along with Sean Vallie on bass; the band recently revealed they’d parted ways Charlie Bellmore.
