Purveyors of water in tallboy cans Liquid Death have teamed up with adult diaper makers Depend for something they are calling a pit diaper. It’s $75 and comes with a package of 52 Depend Guards, but currently listed as sold out; were they ever for sale, or is this all a joke? Or is it a joke that they thought was too funny not to make real?
According to Liquid Death, their pit diaper is made of “100% cruelty-free polyurethane pleather” with a metal key clip, spikes, and chain, and according to the description, it’s “an innovative new solution to help fans like you stay in the safety of the pit and still enjoy all the great-tasting Liquid Death you love! Powered by Depend, the Pit Diaper locks away recycled Liquid Death Mountain Water, Flavored Sparkling, and Iced Tea to give you all-show protection.”
Watch the commercial below, which features Ben Koller (Converge, Mutoid Man, etc) and begins “the scariest place at a show isn’t the bathroom, it’s the mosh pit.” This will also have you wondering “is this real?” though it is funny and well-done.
