Taking Back Sunday aren’t the only band from the Long Island Hardcore scene announcing holiday shows this week. LIHC warriors Incendiary, whose shows are few and far between, just announced that they’ll headline the 10th annual LIHC benefit show at the recently-reopened Amityville Music Hall on December 14 with back-in-action LI melodic hardcore vets The Backup Plan, and newer NY/LI bands Missing Link, Dead Last, and Ten Years Out. The announcement from show booker John Scanlon (also of Dead Last) reads:
Just like your favorite pharmacy – we’re also getting into the holiday spirit a little early. In all seriousness though – we have finally made it to YEAR 10 of the annual LIHC benefit show that has been championed by Incendiary. Keeping it another year of a fully LI bill (Majority counts for ML). This years proceeds will be donated to the EHE foundation in memory of Brandon Rabinowitz.
Tickets go on sale Friday (9/13) at noon.
Other recent Amityville Music Hall announcements include the all veteran New York death metal show of Immolation, Mortician, Internal Bleeding, and Malignancy on November 24 at AMH (also on sale Friday); and the Angel Du$t show happening on 11/11 at AMH with local support from Family Dinner, Private Mind, and Heavy Hex in the midst of Angel Du$t’s run opening for Say Anything. Angel Du$t also open part of Speed’s tour, including the show at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on 9/24.
