Norwegian black metal legends Emperor returned to the US in 2023 for their first tour here in 15 years, but we won’t have to wait that long to see them stateside again; they’ve announced a new US run in spring of 2025. Wolves in The Throne Room, Agalloch, and Wayfarer each open select shows, and according to the flyer, this tour features Emperor’s debut LP, 1994’s In the Nightside Eclipse, which turned 30 in February. The NYC show is at Kings Theatre on May 10 with Wolves in the Throne Room. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, December 6 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Wednesday, December 4 at 10 AM local.
