Ice-T‘s rap-metal band Body Count have a new album, Merciless, on the way next month, and while they haven’t announced a full tour in support of it, they will play a show in Sayreville, NJ later this fall. It happens at Starland Ballroom on December 5, and it’s with Cro-Mags and Murphy’s Law. Tickets are on sale now.
Merciless includes Body Count’s reworked version of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” which features David Gilmour on guitar and verses from Ice-T about his own life. Cannibal Corpse’s Corpsegrinder, Sepultura co-founder Max Cavalera, former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones, and Fit For An Autopsy’s Joe Bad also appear on the album, and you can hear the three advance singles they’ve shared so far below.
Cro-Mags recently supported Bane at the Brooklyn stop of their first full tour since 2016, and Harley Flanagan is the subject of a documentary, Wired for Chaos, that’s premiering at DOC NYC in November (and Ice-T is one of the artists they interviewed for it).
Murphy’s Law have their annual Halloween show coming up in NYC on Thursday (10/31) at TV Eye, with Loosey and The Stress. They’ll also be on tour in Europe with Agnostic Front and Violent Way in November, and you can see all dates below.
