Connecticut metalcore/deathcore/melodic death metal band Balmora have announced their debut album, These Graven Halls, due out May 29 via Daze. It follows a few EPs and splits, most recently 2025’s Prologue, and it was produced, engineered, and mixed by drummer Chaz Torok and guitarist Jay Torblaa. DJ PUNKDRUNK of Empty Shell Casing, Brie Percy of Holder, Hunter Wilson of I Promised The World, Xavier Wahlberg of Upon Stone, LdPckWntr, LORD THOMPXZON, and k420k each appear on tracks, and it also features new vocalist Paul Cole (Since My Beloved, Wings Of Kynareth), who began performing with the band earlier this year. The first single, “OPHELIA,” features vocals from Holder’s Brie Percy. Torball says, “‘Ophelia’ is a story of betrayal, heartbreak, revenge, and forgiveness. It’s meant to highlight the nature of initial anger, action, and remorse in a hanging balance system.” Hear it below.
Balmora will be on tour through the spring and summer, including headlining dates and shows with Poison The Well, Converge, Spy, Holder, Azshara, Hatebreed, Devourment, Snuffed On Sight, Face Yourself, and Incantation.
