Australian hardcore band AWOL have announced a new album, Tear ‘Em To Bits, due April 26 via Flatspot Records and Last Ride Records. They take influence from classic, heavy New York Hardcore like Madball and Biohazard, with an urgency and a freshness that hits hard today. The band says, “The only goal was to make a good hardcore record that we were proud of and that our friends could get behind.”
The album was produced and recorded by Mike Deslandes (The Chats, Tropical Fuck Storm, etc), with additional recording by Otis T Bennie, and mixed by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, etc). The first single is the bone-crushing title track and you can hear that below.
