ScHoolboy Q’s new album Blank Face LP is out now, and after releasing two connected narrative music videos prior to the release of the album, the third is finally out.
This first music video for “By Any Means: Part (1)” begins the short film installment, following Q through an average day. Gaining momentum, the following music video in the installment is for “Tookie Knows II: Part (2)”. This video shows a robbery and Q’s arrest and life in jail afterwards.
The final music video is for the song “Black THougHts (Pt. 3)” and finishes up the story of Q’s post-robbery life. This video shows the court case, and how the verdict heartbreakingly takes him away from his daughter. The video installment is poignant, entertaining and honestly worth a watch.
Schoolboy Q is playing NYC’s Panorama and Austin’s ACL Fest in the coming months. Shortly before Q plays NYC’s Panorama festival though, he’ll play a Panorama-presented NYC show at Highline Ballroom (sold out).
