Like they did in 2016 with Desert Trip and in 2023 with Power Trip, Goldenvoice is bringing a different festival to the Coachella grounds in Indio, CA this fall. The dance and electronic-focused Head Trip happens on October 10-11 at Empire Polo Club, and they’ve given it the tagline, “2 NIGHTS. ONE STAGE. JUST THIS ONCE.”
Saturday’s lineup has Calvin Harris, Fisher and Chris Lake present “Under Construction,” Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling.
Sunday’s lineup includes Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey
They’ll also have the US debut of Floating Points‘ Sunflower Sound System all weekend. Here’s more about that:
Inside a dome tent acoustically-treated with paneling made from mycelium, and decorated with stunning tapestries and original artwork commissioned by DJ and artist Josephine Chime, the meticulously crafted audiophile’s dream features 10 unique stacks assembled and positioned to create an immersive, unparalleled sonic experience. Floating Points and several special guests will DJ at Sunflower Sound System the entire weekend.
