Earlier this summer, ’90s comedy troupe The State announced a reunion show in Denver as the kickoff to the “Breakin’ Hearts & Dippin’ Balls Tour.” They still haven’t announced a full tour, but they have just added shows in NYC, where they formed, happening at Palladium Times Square on October 16 & 17. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday, August 18 at 10 AM local time with presales starting Wednesday, August 16 at 10 AM (use password STATE).
Like in Denver, these don’t appear to a full State reunion, but feature David Wain, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Thomas Lennon, Joe Lo Truglio, Kevin Allison, and Michael Patrick Jann. Not on the poster: Michael Showalter (no “Doug”?!?), Robert Ben Garant, and Todd Holoubek.
The Denver show is on August 30. Let’s hope there are more dates still to be announced.
