Formed in 1985, Guns N' Roses' original lineup included Axl Rose on vocals, Slash and Izzy Stradlin on guitars, Duff McKagan on bass, and Steven Adler on drums. The band's early sound drew from various influences, including punk, blues, and classic rock. They quickly gained a reputation for their electrifying live performances and hard-partying lifestyle.

Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, released in 1987, became an instant classic, featuring hits such as Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o' Mine, and Paradise City. The album's success helped propel Guns N' Roses to international stardom, becoming one of the world's biggest bands throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Despite various lineup changes and personal struggles, Guns N' Roses continued to release critically acclaimed albums and tour the world, cementing their status as one of the greatest rock bands ever. With their raw energy, dynamic musicianship, and uncompromising attitude, Guns N' Roses remain a beloved and influential force in the world of hard rock.

In addition to their music, Guns N' Roses are known for their controversial and often volatile behavior on and offstage. Axl Rose, in particular, was infamous for his erratic behavior and clashes with bandmates, critics, and fans alike. Despite these challenges, Guns N' Roses released successful albums, including Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, both released in 1991.

These albums showcased the band's range and versatility, featuring everything from hard rock anthems to ballads and experimental tracks. However, tensions within the band continued to mount, and in 1993, Guns N' Roses released their final studio album with the original lineup, The Spaghetti Incident? before disbanding in 1997.

Since then, Guns N' Roses have undergone various lineup changes and reunions, with Axl Rose and Slash reuniting in 2016 for the Not in This Lifetime . . . tour, which became one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.

With their electrifying performances, iconic sound, and larger-than-life personalities, Guns N' Roses remain one of the most beloved and influential rock bands in history, inspiring generations of musicians and fans alike.
