For the second year in a row, DUMBO is playing host to the Live At the Archway series, which is “a weekly cabaret below the Manhattan Bridge with free performances, beer, wine, and a magical, only-in-DUMBO setting.” It’s underway now and runs through September. The venue is located on Water street between Adams street and Anchorage place. Head here for directions. Headliners always play at 6 PM, all shows are all ages, and all show are rain or shine (“which works because we’re under the bridge”).
The series pulls from various genres of music from all over the world, and featured artists include indie-funk band Ava Luna, Columbian-inflected dance/percussion outfit M.A.K.U. Soundsystem, percussion trio Tigue, Bubu king Janka Nabay, and more. Check out the full upcoming schedule:
