Brian Fallon playing House of Independents’ first show back

Asbury Park venue House of Independents had to close last year after its basement was flooded, but now it’s set to reopen in June, and the first show back will be from one of the venue’s most famous regulars, Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem. Brian says, “I am SO thrilled to have House of Independents back!!!! One of my FAVORITE and longest supporting venues in NJ! I love this place! I’ve seen and played so many incredible shows here! This is a true thrill to be able to do! WELCOME BACK BAYBEE!!!!!!!”

Brian’s show happens on June 1, and tickets go on sale Friday (5/3) at noon.

Other upcoming HOI shows include Fat Nick, Prince Daddy & the Hyena, The Wailers, and more.

Meanwhile, Brian will also be in conversation with author Steven Hyden about the latter’s new Springsteen book There Was Nothing You Could Do: Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The U.S.A.” and the End of the Heartland at Brooklyn’s Powerhouse Arena on May 29. The Gaslight Anthem are also going on tour with Joyce Manor and Pinkshift, including shows at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 16 and NYC’s Central Park SummerStage on August 21.
