Saturday Night Live has announced the hosts and musical acts of the first three episode of the upcoming 51st season of the show.
Bad Bunny will be back for his second time as host in the season premiere on October 4; for his last time on the show in 2023, he pulled double duty as music guest as well, but this time he’s got Doja Cat doing the singing and dancing in her SNL debut.
Former SNL castmember and Weekend Update anchor Amy Poehler will host for the second time on October 11 with Role Model as musical guest. Finally, Coachella 2026 headliner Sabrina Carpenter, who was a musical guest in May 2024 returns as both host and musical guest on October 18.
In other SNL news, following the variety show’s much-lauded 50th season, there have been a lot of cast changes: Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim, and Devon Walker are exiting, while Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Paterson, and Veronika Słowikowska have been added. Ben Marshall, who had been a staff writer as well as appearing in videos as part of Please Don’t Destroy, has been promoted to cast member, while PDD’s John Higgins, who was also a writer, has left the show.
