Whether this is directly related to the mysterious Mr. Show writers confab that happened earlier this year or not, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are getting back into the sketch comedy show business with With Bob and David, which will be a Netflix original series available at some point later this year. There will be four half-hour episodes and an hour-long “making-of” special, Deadline reports. The pair describe it thusly:
After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy. Four half-hours of brand-new comedy featuring all new characters, all new scenes and, most importantly, all new wigs.
Hopefully they’ll also make room for Pit-Pat‘s return as well. Netflix is also home to the Wet Hot American Summer miniseries that will be available this summer. Bob Odenkirk’s Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul wraps up its first season next week.
