These Spinal Tap action figures go to 11

Rock legends Spinal Tap, immortalized in director Martin Di Bergi’s 1984 documentary This is Spinal Tap, have now been further immortalized as new trio of action figures from Super7. The ReAction Figures for frontman/guitarist David St. Hubbins, lead guitarist Nigel Tufnel, and bassist Derek Smalls each come with their respective instruments and are styled in Smell the Glove era outfits. The figures are 3.57″ tall, but feel like they go to 11, and feature multiple points of articulation. At this scale the Stonehenge model in the film would be appropriately huge, and will look great on your shelf, atop your amp, or using them in a puppet show.

Meanwhile, the sequel to This Is Spinal Tap began filming earlier this year with David, Nigel and Derek, and director Marty Di Bergi all returning, plus Elton John, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Questlove, and Trisha Yearwood are all set to make guest appearances. They’ve come a long way. Stay tuned.
