Dan Boeckner (of Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs, Operators, and Divine Fits) is releasing his debut album as Boeckner in March via Sub Pop, and he’s shared another new single from it, the propulsive, synthy “Euphoria.” Hear it below.
Boeckner has also announced a spring tour, where, according to press release, he’ll play “material from the new album along with deep cuts and highlights from Operators, Handsome Furs, Divine Fits, and Wolf Parade catalog.” The West Coast shows will have him backed by Sam Brown (Operators, Divine Fits, New Bomb Turks) on drums, Alex Fischel (Spoon, Divine Fits) on keys, and Brad Laner (Medicine, Savage Republic) on guitar, and his band for the East Coast shows is still TBA. The NYC show is at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 12. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10 AM local, with an American Express presale happening now.
